George Trommer, Assistant Principal Administration
I graduated from Farleigh Dickenson University in 1973. For the next ten years I was co-owner of a plumbing & heating company in New York City. In 1982 I began my career at the Board of Education as a plumber for the Division of School Facilities. My teaching career started in 1983 as a plumbing instructor for Adult & Evening Trade School. In 1985 I transferred titles to Plumbing Teacher, Day High Schools and was assigned to The School of Cooperative Technical Education in the “Flex Program”. The”Flex Program” was renamed The City of New York Vocational Training Center in 1987 and for the next 20 years I was employed by V.T.C. After graduating from Fordham University in 1991 (V.E.L.P. Fellowship), I was appointed Assistant Principal Administration for V.T.C. In 2007 I was assigned to The School of Cooperative Technical Education. I feel I have returned home.
